Smoke, Fire, Politics....not a good match? / myLot

This is 8 am in Oregon, usa. Smoke is so thick it blocks the sun and it is so cold I had to turn the furnace on to warm the house. Three western states are on fire and I am in the middle of it. I am packed and have everything laying by the door. No idea where I would evacuate to since there are so many fires going. I will be very glad when 2020 is over! Hope your world is in better shape than mine! lol

Thanks...thats the problem..there is no way out, not unless I could drive east away from the fires..they are burning in the mountains that all go north and south and the wind is blowing the smoke west (where I am) about 50 miles from the Pacific. And Washington and California are on fire too.. The only 'out' would be over on the coast but I can't get there. Its one of those things where I just stay packed and hope for the best.. :-) Not a lot of fun. lol
