What costs most in hospital

Lately I checked in at a well known hospital for some stomach pain I couldn't figure out why. The nurse enquired me and let me sit 2 hours just like that in ER waiting list cause apparently I wasn't priority patient. Finally when I was diagnosed and treated I came to know I was low on vitamins and electrolytes due to diarrhoea and the only medicine I was given was O.R.S and glucose drip. If only I had known what pain it was I had saved myself 7 hours plus hospitalization fee....don't know why they charge over $150 for water and 10 cent O.R.S Powder

It does and I believe they are making sure insurance companies get premium which is so inhumane

@Loverabbit I understand. You don't have insurance to help with your medical bills?

@just4him Luckily I had one but then comes the point of paying premium without actually incurring expense It's a risk minimisation but again insurance won't cover my all uncertainty at hospital they can always surprise me with much higher bills

What bothers me most is I have to get stressed for hospital bills before I feel any other stress. I understand the bills feed doctors n staff but its not like i get sick for some fun or pleasure

Some hospital fees do seem outrageously high. I hope you are better now.

This is very annoying. I guess medical practitioners have 'seen it all', that they will take their sweet time before attending to someone. This is very sad.

They even have a room in hospital where they can rest rehab and then come out for 3 hours duty and that too I am talking about senior doctors who are needed the most

No need to blame others or yourself. Accept the reality.

I believe medical facilities should be least a worry as its one of the basic necessity not like its temporary demand and supply created price hike

Nowadays hospital bills sitting in the sky lol. That's why I avoid completely going to the hospital lol. For small issue getting medicine from medical school, for emergency needs only going hospital lol

Its so wrong those people take oath to look after the patients first before themselves and yet they care the least all they care is bills n bills.
