What's yer color?

A friend 'f mine'd a fella o'er to her place to give'er a hand whilst she 'twas feelin' puny. 'pparently he's one'f those magical wizards - master landscaper, designer, 'n colorologist.
Whilst tryin' to figure what she needed'n her garden, he'd asked what her favorite color 'twas. She said blue. Then he asked if'n he could go 'ndoors, which puzzled the dickens out'ta her.
'f course, she obliged'n 'fter jest a scan 'f her home, told her she 'twas'n err - 'twas yellow she 'twas drawn to most. Pointed out the yellow tones'n her woodwork, paintings 'n other household decor. She 'twas a tad shocked, but'd to 'gree.
So now when she's feelin' blue, I send her pic's with yellow to brighten her day. From wildflowers, to rocks 'n e'en the dead pasture grasses ('f which's great texture). Such brings'er great delight.
Do ya think ya know somethin' 'bout'cherself'n then find out'cha were wrong? I found't most fascinatin'!

@crazyhorseladycx I have a pointed marked manx. She is a big baby.Her face is all brown now tho. But I love my calicos and appaloosas. Just dont have any of the latter right now. Plenty of calicos here. So that throws a lot of white in it too

@just4him 'tis great to've a color that makes ya feel good :) i'm fond 'f periwinkle blue myself, but findin' such'n clothin' 'd mean i'd need to go shop. that 4-letter word...
ya could be like me'n spill some bleach 'n fade that black to purple ;) nah, not recommended. wish i could wear sneakers 't times. 've ne'er been able to find a pair that fit proper.

@crazyhorseladycx I love purple. I'm wearing it today. I was sad I couldn't find a new pair of sneakers in purple. Oh well. They're black and white and cute.

ya could go rob closets with ms. @just4him, lol. my aunt 'tis 'lso a huge fan 'f purple. e'ery shade that 'xists. 'tis good that one can be surrounded by colors that make 'em happy, eh?

i don't reckon i'd e'er given such much thought, though'd most likely be surprised if'n one 'f these wizards came 'n got 't sorted fer me, lol. i'm purty fond 'f my dark colors, but do like me a periwinkle blue. 'r whate'er color they call't these days, lol.

@JudyEv bless yer heart. here 'twas mostly 'n yer face shocks 'f colors. 'f which i jest couldn't e'en look't there'n the racks. thankfully i could wear western clothin' back then. prior to that e'en goin' 'modern'. so sad 'bout'cher favorite red shoes!

@crazyhorseladycx When I was working and had to buy some clothes, it seemed that all that was on offer were murky, dark colours - -all sort of muddy. I had a pair of red shoes that I loved too. I was sad when they wore out.

I always say my favourite colour is forest green. There isn't a lick of that in my living room.
Our old living room furniture is in the basement now, it is mainly green.
The walls here when we bought the place were a light bluish gray. Makes me want to choose blue for colour splashes.
I have no idea what I like

We all might have favorite colors, but I think it depends on what it is. Me, I mostly don't have a "favorite" color for anything, but perhaps there are certain color tendencies, again depending on what it is. You are so kind and thoughtful to send your friend things to brighten her day

@much2say depends fer me, too. outdoors i'm drawn to most all. i prefer not to 've some 'ndoors, though. i dunno if'n she feels the same...but she gets 'em anyhow, lol. big hugs!

I love yellow with flowers, some walls, decor etc. It's so happy. I love blues and lavenders and thought I wanted my little mini with all blue and white but realized I missed my lavender and splash of yellows. I've been adding color back.

'tis a prickly pear cactus flower, with the bonus'f 2 bees. purty certain the one'n the back 'twas sleepin' whilst the other 'twas busy gatherin' pollen. bees're prone to nappin' 'mong flowers. their work 'xhaustin', 'n what better place?
i do love the pollen sprinkled 'bout the leaves from all the 'ctivity. reminds me 'f fairy dust :)

aw, thanks! 'twas delighted to catch 2 bees'n the blossom. purty sure both'd been snoozin' (the depressions) 'n the one'n the back'd not woken yet. yes ma'am, that we do. hopefully anyhow :)
