Just reading a little news today.

I took my walk this morning and that was alright, but now it is getting quite warm outside and that means it is warm in the house. There is a breeze and it is a good thing, or it would feel a lot warmer in there than it does right now. If it was any warmer, I would be tempted to turn on the AC. I just read a little “news” story and find it quite funny. Celebs are freezing their Instagram account. They are not going to post at all to boycott Facebook the owner of Instagram. I though that was great news but then it said they are only going to do it for 24 hours. I was hoping it would be forever. I also like how smart Kim Kardashian is, she said “ “I can’t sit by and stay silent while these platforms continue to allow the spreading of hate, propaganda and misinformation – created by groups to sow division and split America apart – only to take steps after people are killed,” Umm wait, you can’t sit by and stay silent but your going to stay silent for 24 hours on Instagram? In other news two ladies were fired for refusing to wear aprons at Kroger grocery store. Kroger required employees to wear a new apron with a rainbow heart on it to support the LGBTQ community. Well, the two ladies for religious reasons refused to wear it and were fired for it. Of course, they are suing the company and I hope they win. Don’t get me wrong I could care less how people live their life as long as it isn’t hurting anyone. Being forced to support a group by my employer, I don’t think so. The next thing you know they will tell you what political party you have to support. I don’t care about religious standing they had, I think it is wrong for the company to do this and I should have to have this forced on me. I would have been happy for them to fire me.

Heh. I hope they win too. I'm not a homophobe, but I don't think people should be forced to make political statements. I would like to see Kim Kardashian be silent for maybe three years as a protest against...whatever. I don't even know if she pretends to be a Lefty or a Righty.

Yeah, I could care less about someones choice as far as that goes, but I do care about my right to choose what I support and what I don't. I don't think she knows what she supports. What ever her fans want.

@Bensen32 Whatever gets her attention? Is she still relevant? I don't even know.

I would be happy if celebrities were silenced from social media forever. Social media and politics. They have no business getting involved in either. They should stick to the only thing they're good at, which is making movies or tv shows. I would have refused to wear the aprons too, and would have been happy to get fired for it. And not because I'm a homophobe. I have no issues with that. What I have issues with is a company telling me what I can or cannot do. That was asinine of them to require everyone to wear the aprons. I hope the ladies win their lawsuit against the company.

@Bensen32 You said it perfectly. They live and play in a fantasy world.

I agree with both accounts. Celebs play pretend for a living I could careless what they have to say about anything.

I totally agree with you about Krogers. I wouldn't have any problem at all wearing the apron, but don't think it should be forced on anyone.
