Cleaning Up My Email

Over the course of time, we've made many email accounts for varying reasons. I have at least five email accounts in Gmail, Yahoo, and even Hotmail. Some I've kept because the email is important, for example my Hotmail account that is attached to my PayPal account and my current Gmail account that is the most updated one.
Other email addresses, I have completely forgotten and I have no plans of trying to reactivate. Anyway, I guess, if I have the free time, I would do so.
While going through the notifications here in myLot, I got sidetracked by 'cleaning up' my most recent email. It had over 3,000 emails that I have not read. Gone were the days, that the first thing I would do when I wake up is check my email. Not that I miss those days but it did show a semblance of structure and schedule.
I have managed to delete over 1,000 emails and still kept a couple ones that I intend to read and use.
One good thing is that I've manage to create a myLot post out of it.
How many email addresses do you have and do you still use all of these?

Lucky too, one is gmail easy to attach pics of docs for applications.

I have two of them.. On Yahoo and Gmail. And I am using both. I am not so frequent to visiting them. And every once in a while I have to take a day out to clean them. That's a real headache.

@arunima25 not really. I get to do it during lull time at work which is a lot depending on the day.
It keeps me busy but not necessarily productive.

Three active emails? What do you use each one for?
I never bother checking my emails everyday that is why I have a ton of these unread emails.

I don't think all emails are important. Some are but others not so much.

I have 3-4 email accounts, ended up forgetting the password and whenever I hit login my password always not matched.. then another process to retrieved.

I'm going to start checking and deleting emails at least twice or thrice a week until I get it to a manageable number.

i have one from YM, and 3 from gmail. these 3 had differences where the punctuation mark PERIOD was inserted.

I do that as well in my previous emails. Instead of characters, a period is used.

Good for you if that is the case.
I initially had one Yahoo email and one Hotmail email but then, I needed to create more email addresses for various reasons.
