The race

There is a race here. The national highway is having races of ambulances bringing in and bringing home the sick or ill persons and taking the recovered and improved persons back to their homes, respectively. With the local news posting that there are 26 new cases here in my city, and hearing these sirens of ambulances racing, I believe this is a signal for us to stay home, and wear our protective gear once we step out of our houses, even going to the store across the road. How about in your place? Is there racing of ambulances? I hope it is not race of fire trucks.

No, I hear no ambulances, they would not use the sirens to bring Covid patients to the hospital anyway.

here, the sirens are so loud that the vhicles along the road should immediately pave a way for the ambulance to pass through. covid cases are considered serious cases here.

@ridingbet Covid cases are serious, but they are not emergencies, the ambulances are only allowed to use the sirens when there is a life treat and the patient must reach the hospital immediately. It is never the case of Covid patients, they are put under oxygen in the ambulance and it does not take long to arrive to the hospital.

thankfully i live out'n the country (though city folks continue to flock out here'n such'll not be so soon...) 'n rarely do we hear'n ambulance. when we do, 'tis'n the highway, which's most oft not a good outcome. yepperz, 'tis best to use all precautions ya can. if'n more folks felt that way'n practiced such measures, i'm purty sure all countries'd nipped this virus'n the bud. selfish humans...

the race is not only here in my place, i believe. i think in almost all cities and towns, the sirens of the ambulances cut the quiet nights.

@ridingbet Yes, we have but we don“t make an ambulance race because of COVID. There is only the sound of an ambulance when there is a car accident on the road which needs fast action.
