Today is Friday and it has been our first full week of school. We will have a tornado drill today.
I am really watching what I eat right now, trying to fix some health problems.
Last night I had to set up some communication between my husband's doctors. Local doctor does not like some results on some of his tests. I am having them sent to his urologist for a second opinion. Trying to set up that communication took some of my energy last night.
I have had a cold/allergies for several days and cannot seem to completely get rid of it. Lots of rest this weekend.
Maybe a lot of computer, who knows?
Wishing all a good morning or evening. See you later.
It is time to drive over for the bus. I

I do not feel particularly bad, just embarrassed to be around people while coughing and sneezing.

I feel strongly that it is allergies, hubby has not gotten sick and I do not have a fever. People still look at you as if you have the plague. I am having two days completely maskless to see how that goes. I think it would help.

A tornado drill in the fall? By the time you actually need those tornado drills put to good use the kids will have forgotten everything!
Funny, we used to call ours “disaster drills,” because we had the Cold War and the fear of being nuked, so we’d go duck and cover in the hallway, which we all know would magically protect us from tornadoes and bombs.

The state requires a tornado drill in August and September, as well as in March, April and May. I think most months we are required to have a fire drill as well. I do not ever remember the "disaster drills" but do remember the tornado drill that we had on occasion.

I am not sure I succeeded. Urologist office called hubby, he could not understand them, said I was to call them back. I tried twice. No luck. One thing he said they said is that they cannot talk to his local doc as she is not listed as a provider or some such. Loses a lot in translation through hubs. I hope they are allowed to read his labs, as I am having them mailed to him.

@GardenGerty oh dear, i've the same troubles with the hubs here. so can empathize with ya. i really dislike the medical system these days, though others're quite pleased. lack 'f providers, losin' the ones ya trusted, 'em not speakin' with each other'n very relevant matters... i hope he can read 'em, too. 'n hopefully't least give ya some answers.

My husband has not "caught" this and I have no fever. Pretty sure it is allergies.
