The lockdown where I live plus the mountains being so near have made pumas wander to what used to be their home land.
Some time ago, 2 young pumas were seen near Claudia´s neighborhood. One of them wandered in Claudia´s block and she had to sleep with all her animals inside the house.
Now a mother puma and her 2 cubs came to another of the neighborhoods nearer the Andes. One of the cubs was caught unharmed. The others have escaped for the moment. The main problem is that dogs go against them and stress them, as the zoo keeper says.
This picture is one of them.

An old belief says that not often seen animals only allow themselves to be seen by people they like. It's a way of communication.
Wish the local government has steps on how to handle the pumas. These animals could also be afraid of humans, just that the pandemia has prodded them to wander around.

@marguicha That is good. The beasts must always be looked after. It's man's responsibility.

There is a black panther on the loose over here and they have not been able to get to him yet.
He is giving them a run for their money.
I truly hope they don´t try to kill him as he is probably more afraid of them hence they are not getting to see him as if he would show up and wave his paws and say hiya.

Probably the poor beast is terrified. And unless there´s people who know how to manage the situation, it will be killed

I just wonder who was silly enough to think that they could keep a magnificent animal like that like your every day dog in a back yard?
I hope he does not get killed its hardly his fault he is out there.
If it was Felix Rodríguez de La Fuente he would have known what to do as for the rest of them I have no idea what they will think or do.

That's a very volatile and unsafe condition.
