The Masked Singer starts tonight

It's time for The Masked Singer. Season 4 starts tonight. The costumes this year are very creative. Probably the best costumes to-date. I wonder which celebrities are behind the masks. The costumes this season are: broccoli, mushroom, popcorn, crocodile, giraffe, seahorse, jellyfish, snow owls, gremlin, serpent, dragon, squiggly monster, baby alien, sun, lips, and whatchamacallit
Also curious to find out how the show will be as there won't be a real audience. It's just not the same without a real audience. Also, the performers feed of the energy of the audience, so not having one may not be a good thing. But safety first. They are probably gonna do a virtual audience of some kind though.

I watched the first episode and there was a live audience. Same amount of people as pre-pandemic. Maye the episodes were shot before we had to social distance from each other.

@lovebuglena We were curious about it and I found an article that said it looked like a full audience to us behind the stage, but it wasn't. They were following social distancing guidelines, but with camera tricks they were able to make it look like they were all seated together . . . and I guess they were allowed to use old footage if needed. In any case, it looked fairly normal, right?

I've tuned in a few times to watch, but just haven't been able to get into the show wholeheartedly. I used to watch American Idol religiously, but these days I don't watch much of the singing shows anymore.

@lovebuglena I cancelled my cable a few months ago to save money, so I don't watch any tv at all anymore. And it's been such a good thing!

I am still with Idol. Love the show! And I now watch The Voice too. I sometimes watched here and there but when Kelly Clarkson joined the judging panel I have not stopped watching since.
