This painting is of puffins by the sea. The foreground isn't exactly as I would have liked it. It was before I got the hang of how to do foregrounds. What do you think?

I like it and I will also say that I've made my own cards before like your bio states although I've not painted mine. But I have written small piece for some of then before. If you don't want your avatar pic to be off yourself you can use one of your paintings or a pic of a card your made or a pet. Anything really other than the mylot avatar placed here. (I thought you were a newbie). Good to meet you Sharon.

@MarshaMusselman Well, it's just too blotchy. I would have done more downward strokes like grass. Like on my new profile picture.

It is simple enough that it is good. And by simple I do not mean that in a bad way. I like it. I think puffins are in the penguin family, right? I could be wrong about that.
