My friends came. They had several sprays and they sprayed the soles of their shoes. I thought that when I was I chemo I had to beg everyone for it. Now the COVID is part of our lives.
Lili brought champagne and we all had our Kir Royal. More than one, I´d say. They also brought a good read wine.
I had appetizers and lots of food. Still, we all had naps after lunch. This is part of the good thing of inviting very good friends. They are like family.
Lili helped me watered the plants and I washed the dishes. And they went away after promising me to invite me for a lunch one of these days.

In my small red country, the party is over for 6 months now, no israrli folk dances gatherings almost anywhere. No gatherings of any kind, I only work, go back home, and sometimes I visit my family here and there. What is the Kir Royal ? What is the point of spraying the shoes soles?
Plus, one of the pioneers of israeli folk dances has passed away today (about 12 hours ago). At the age of 90, Yoav Ashriel, choreograpged 123 dances based on israeli songs, "erev ba" (evening is comming) is one of the most popular dances for more than 50 years now. nice song too. Search at youtube "erev ba folk dance"

These are my second best friends. I hadn´t seen them for 6 months and we are now allowed to gather following cetain rules. Kir Rpyal is a drink with liqueur de cassis and champagne.. Finally, we spray the shoe soles with lisol before entering a house.

@marguicha isn't it easier to just leave the shoes next to the door and put socks or slippers instead ?
Are there any popular folk dances in Chile ?

@stringer321 One of my friends bought slippers. Whem I was in chemo, I had clean slippers for every visitor. There are many folk dances on my country.

I needed peeled potatoes for my main dish. So, when I looked at the potatoes, I peeled them leaving more potato in the skin, added olive oil to the skins and placed them in the oven. They loved it.

They lifted our restrictions here this week, hopefully that means the kids won't have to wear masks as much at school. I went to the dollar store today and didn't have to wear mine inside for the first time in months

Our restrictions have been lifted in some places too. My friends and I kept social distance.
