Back in 1963, there was music known as surf rock and The Surfaris came out with a popular song called "Wipeout." The reason this song came to mind was that lately, I have not felt as energetic in my writing as previously. Something is missing in my enthusiasm and also in the fact that to get back my desire for writing I have also not wanted to listen to any music. Now music and writing are what my world revolves around. Of course. I have other interests as well but those were always my two main ones. I suppose I have been working so hard and worrying about getting more writing jobs that it could be I have had a wipeout. So the one thing I tell myself is to remember one of my favorite series Gidget with Sally Field and when she had a wipeout she would grab onto her surfboard and get right back into the water. So I am grabbing onto my keyboard and surfing the net as if I never had a wipeout. And just like the beginning of the song I will be able to laugh at my wipeout .
During the surf rock movement in Southern California in the early 1960s, a group of four talented high school boys made the scene forming a band called The S...

This happens to me too when I'm pushing myself too hard. That's why these days I just try to enjoy whenever I can without pressuring myself too much.

This was one of my favorite songs, from the 60s. They were fabulous musicians! That's a coincidence, I've put my writing/music on a back burner, also. Why? Because I feel uninspired and discouraged!

Well, I will put in a prayer that both of us can get back to being inspired and feeling good about ourselves. I know it can be done. For me, it will be finally landing a good writing job What about you @kobesbuddy ?

My writing has been suffering the past few months. I hope you get a lot of new writing jobs and that your interest in writing returns.

I've always loved this song. Yeah, I know what you mean, I used to carry my camera every where I went but this year I haven't had as much interest which is odd for me. Maybe 2021 will be better for our creative sides.
