Waiting For My Grandparents....

They went to the neurologist an hour away formy Grandpa to get his PET scan. Not sure if they are on the way back yet or not. Maybe they stayed so they could get the results right away...hard to say.
I'll update later if there is anything to update.
Have you hada PET scan before? Did the reslts take a while?

Most medical tests can take days to weeks to come back, if they are done non-urgently. I wish your grandparents luck. Try not to worry to much, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Well this one needs to be done very urgently.....for sure. They say the doctor should have the results tomorrow.

That's good....and the doctor should have the results tomorrow. Whether he calls tomorrow is a different question.

I've never had a PET scan...just MRIs and CT scans. Hope it went OK. I know you'll keep us posted.

Those sound just as rough.....thank you though! Wasn't pleasant for my Grandpa; but we already got the results (shared in my latest post...too much to type all out in a comment ) but it is not cancer.

@jstory07 It's still the other issue....but he will start on steroids probably tomorrow and then probably start infusions in a month
