I went out to see a coworker's band play on Friday night. I Ubered there and back--it was like $23 each way and it was only a couple of miles! Anyway I set up the account last spring when I was still living at the house and still using my husband's credit card. I thought I updated it but apparently I didn't. He called me today to see if I used Uber on his credit card. I told him I used Uber but I thought it was on my credit card. He asked me to check because he had 2 charges and he wanted to make sure he didn't have to cancel the card. Sure enough it was me. I told him I'd give him the money but he said he didn't want it. Hey fine with me. Now I just have to make sure that I get the credit card on the account changed. I don't want to piss him off by doing it again.

I did that one with my ex husband, but I can't remember what it was. I was renewing something and thought my card was on file.

I'm sure some of my subscriptions have been auto-renewed on his card but he hasn't said anything about it.

@NJChicaa I'm guessing he would notice since he was quick to notice the uber charge

That is why I never used my credit card with Uber. They mess things up. I'd rather pay via cash or via UberPay.

This was an honest mistake. You had no idea this would be charged on his credit card.

That was nice that you got two free Uber rides! Do you not drive because you don't want anything to happen to your car?
