I learned this word years ago, probably in 4th or 5th grade. I saw it tonight and it was familiar, but I didn't remember its exact meaning.
Many English words are homophones. Some of them are more commonly misused than others. When reading emails and posts on social media, I frequently see 'too' and 'to' used incorrectly.
Do you think some homophones are confusing? Have you noticed that certain words are misused a lot?

Sometimes homophones can be difficult to understand. It depends on how well you spell and on how much you understand the English language, I remember I had some difficulties with these at school but after that, I can pick them up easily,

That's a good point @RasmaSandra. Language and spelling skills make all the difference with homophones. They have been fairly easy for me all my life. Math skills were more difficult.
