Ready for the Weekend

I am ready for the weekend already. I work tomorrow and then I am off for two days!!! I can't wait to get done with work tomorrow and come home. I know I am thinking all the way ahead but I am really tired right now. I have been dragging when it comes to work this week because of my Chronic Migraines and being a little asthmatic.
Working in a Casino has it's advantages and disadvantages if that makes sense. How are all of you doing?

I'm looking forward to the weekend, too. I'm also glad of being able to work from home (although, while my office job is OK and not too busy today, I am struggling to finish some writing work - hopefully, I'll get that done later).
I'm meeting up with a friend on Saturday afternoon. She's actually my youngest son's best friend's mum but we have become friends through them. I know she doesn't get out a lot, and she struggles with her own health issues on top of having a teenage daughter!
In the evening, I'm kicking off my birthday celebrations - I have a special birthday coming up so celebrating for the whole month! Actually, I kind of started last month with a meal out with my best friend 
This time, I'll be going with my husband, my sister and her partner, my nephew and his partner. It's a place that some of us have been before - as in, we've been to the building - but it's changed its style to 'fine dining'. It's the only fine dining place anywhere around here, and it will make for a nice change from the same old traditional pub dishes (which are OK but I like a bit of variety).
Sunday, I have some writing to do. Either finishing an article if I don't get it done beforehand or I'll be working on one of my other projects. That will be in between walking my son to and from the village as he's doing an online trek challenge (don't ask me how they're trekking online) with Explorer Scouts.
I'm actually quite excited for the next few weeks as I have various plans. I'll be completely worn out just thinking about it all
