Oh, baby, is fall here! Nice and cool this morning! Perfect weather for a drive to look at the progress of the foliage. It’s also the perfect time for another song with “baby” in the title. Another one without much suspense as to whether it would appear, and here it is! Baby Driver - Simon & Garfunkel This is about as opposite “Bridge Over Troubled Water” as you can get. And yet, they’re on the same album. Ah, music in the late 60s/early 70s. This song is so much fun. It’s not what you’d expect from that “poet and a one-man band” mentioned in “Homeward Bound,” is it? That’s what made S&G so appealing. It’s hard to believe, looking back, that they only made five albums. That is making every note count. And they did.
