Braveheart again on TV. / myLot

Ever since I watched Braveheart for the first time, I also read that the movie had nothing to do with the Scottish hero. I don´t know much about English history and much less about Scottish history. But the plot is good and Mel Gibson was at his prime in that movie. So I´ll accept it as it is unless my Scottish friend here ( JimBo452020 ) tells me otherwise. I love these movies with history and action. See you later, after the movie ends

I watched it years ago with a Scottish friend who was studying history at that time. She commented on all the mistakes while drinking whiskey, it was a very Scottish evening.

Braveheart is an interesting movie, but it is "fictional", but the warrior William Wallace existed. Wallace was captured near Glasgow, and first hanged then drawn and quartered for high treason and crimes against English civilians.
