I have not cooked our dinner for 2 days. I was so busy and then, I was at a birthday party. Then coming home from the party, I brought some Filipino food home. Bring home food from a Filipino party is a tradition. So, everyone has something to eat for the next day. I had brought spring rolls and fried noodles for Sunday dinner then.
Today, Monday, I was cooking spaghetti with salami and spinach cream sauce. I wanted different food. I have eaten for 2 days only Filipino food that I wanted something else for dinner. I think I am no longer a 100% Filipina
Sometimes, I am crazy when it comes to food. Tomorrow will be German food on the table. I still don´t know what but it might be potatoes with meat and veggies.
My kitchen is international that my dutch nephew asked me once, "Are you sure you are a Filipina?". That is because his mother, my sis, would be in a bad mood when she can´t eat rice 4 times a week. I am okay with once a week of rice.
What food are you cooking at home? Do you also have international food served in your kitchen?
Thanks for reading. Time for me to go to bed again. See you in your discussions later this Tuesday.

@thelme55 American food is something we all enjoy - steaks, lamb chops, ribs, hammers, hot dogs, fries, corn on the cob, baked beans, turkey, New England clam chowder, meatloaf, popcorn, grits, Mac and cheese, sloppy Joe, fried chicken, jambalaya, shrimp creole......

Yes, it is nice to have a break from cooking @DianneN. So you have international cooking. What is typical American cooking? I don´t think I have cooked American food. The only French food I cook is the Ratatouille and I serve it with either baguette bread or rice. We eat Italian food twice a week here. I don´t know anything about Russian food. Thank you. I have slept well last night that I didn´t want to go out of bed.

I'm a potato! I married an Italian and was lucky that he didn't insist on spaghetti all the time. He also liked potatoes. When he felt the urge to eat spaghetti, he prepared them himself because he claimed that I wasn't capable of doing it right. That was ok for me.

My husband is a potato man but he also eats what I cook. He likes Filipino food, too but I know that he would easily feel hungry when I always cook Filipino or Asian food. That was the case when we were newly married but I have adapted a lot here in Germany. I still have Knödeln here in packages and so I might cook this tomorrow. Thanks and goodnight @MALUSE
