What does "@null" mean?

I have had a couple of instances where a response I have written to a post has not appeared on the screen - instead the response is replaced by "@null". Does anyone know what is going on when this happens?

I too don't know what's that null mean, I also experienced just now. I am posting a comment to a discussion then suddenly appeared null. Maybe the post removed.

I suppose that might happen if the poster changes their mind and deletes a post in the interim between it appearing and a response being posted - that's certainly worth a thought.

@indexer Thanks for asking this. It has happened to me but I was too shy to ask.

It happened to me too. Then I realized the discussion was deleted
