Poetry: The secrets of life are not secrets

The secrets of life are hidden from me,
but I feel that I know them inside unfreed.
Sitting around doing nothing I never found,
anything profounder than what lied around.
The mystery was not a mystery I liked.
I hated it being unknowingly unsighted.
I wanted to reach way beyond myself,
but I felt limited by the secrets not seen.
I was told to discard what secrets I knew,
they were really not the real secrets I viewed.
I told them to go away, as they knew much less,
pestering me with themselves, I became a mess.
There are no secrets hidden anywhere in life.
Everything is ablaze with love at your feet.
Pick yourself up, and walk in love's truth,
and forget about the secrets of secrets regrets.

Yes, hence what the Bible tells us, we need the "eyes" to see them, and so inner eyes of awareness are important, as well as our outer eyes are too.

@Shiva49 Well said, siva. That about sums up our lot, our position in it all.
Greed always comes before realisation, and when realisation catches up, the greed has already done much damage, perhaps even to an unfixable level, at times.
The fix has to be pushed in by something else, like a COVID virus, or two.

@innertalks The heartbeat of creation is the underlying love which we should reach up to by doing our part too.
Blinded by the spread of nature, we get carried away and remain blind to the love of our creator while some open their eyes only to realize it is too late. .

If you keep an open mind you can discover many secrets and treasure them, You have to let your faith guide you always and let the light of love and understanding in your heart as well as always keeping tuned to what is happening all around you

Yes, but why are the secrets, secrets?
It says in the Bible that as we grow in understanding and wisdom, more secrets are revealed to us then, because we have risen to the level of understanding then to properly recognise, and appreciate them.
We have to become ready for them first for them to be revealed to us.
We need to develop the eyes to see, and the ears to hear, (inner awareness, or staying tuned, as you said) and yes, to be guided by faith, and the light of love and understanding, as you said too.

Once we accept what is passed down, our spirit of inquiry ceases, then we are relegated to following the beaten path.
Our universe is exploring new vistas and the whole of galaxies are also moving away into uncharted territory every milli second.
Being part of the show and wondering about the unknown make our lives fulfilling but more so by exploring everywhere. Then we are truly alive.

It may not be the right thing to say, but some are so obnoxious their parting is a relief to their family even.
