How Are You?

I have been in a funk long enough. I decided, while waiting for my annual check-up to come up, to get back to life. I have been laying here watching tv and playing games on my cell until I am ready to jump out the window. Bored? Oh yah! I am in my 68th year and have spent most of it with extreme depression and the occasional panic attacks. I have felt the difference in my body. So hard to get up and get around. My doctor has talked me into some physical video chats with a social worker. See how all of that goes. Thankfully, this epidemic hasn't affected me that much. I live in my room, the kids wear their masks when they go out, and we don't socialize that much. But, my question to you is "How are you?" How it the epidemic effecting you? Are you still working or staying at home praying the unemployment holds out or comes back? Do you see a light at the end of this horrific tunnel we are all in?

To be honest, I barely noticed a difference in my life. It's like I told my husband, where I live, it feels like life is normal. We barely noticed a shut down of any kind. We live so close to so many essential businesses, that not a whole lot changed. My husband has been able to continue to work during this time, and nothing has changed for me, disability-wise. I still get my checks monthly, and I pick up the odd online job here and there. Relying on apps and games, mostly. Basically, no real change from how I've been living as of late.

I haven't seen much of a difference either. Not able to get the type of bath tissue I like is about it.

I'm sorry your depression and panic attacks are bad. I hope the video chats help. I'm doing well. I just had my right knee replaced three weeks ago. In another three weeks I'll get the left replaced. I'm so happy to get this done and have pain-free knees. I'm working daily to get my right knee where it needs to be so I can get the next surgery on time.

Doing OK. We are on Social Security; so we don't have money or job worries. My depression is kept in check by meds; so I'm good in that department as well. Hope the social worker will be able to help you.

I am good, thank you. The pandemia ushered changes but am not complaining. I was bewildered by the development of the events these past months but concluded that the pandemia that came upon us happened to benefit the earth, and mankind.

How am I? A bit annoyed. An idiot called me at night disturb my sleep for her assignments. So selfish of her.
