What's in the October 2020 Keto Box?

This month we ordered a monthly subscription box full of Keto treats/snacks/foods. The box cost around $40. It would cost $36 a month if we did a 6 month deal...but we'd have to pay for the whole 6 months at once. So, we went with the $40 cancel at any time plan. I think the box is worth the $40. You get a few full sized items, some bars, a meat stick (sometimes two), and so on... I think sometimes they even send a drink, or other bottled items. This month's box came with these items (price and net carbs included). - Kalifornia Keto Cookies Mix ~ Pumpkin spice flavor. Net carbs per cookie: 2. Price on the official site: $9.49. Will have to make these soon. - Love Good Fats bar (Salted Caramel Chewy Nutty flavor). Net carbs per bar: 4. Price on the official site: $27.99 for a box of 12; or $2.33 each. I have tried the chocolate mint flavor and it was okay, but I am not a "nut person" so my husband tried this. I think he liked it, except that it was really salty. - Palmini Noodles ~ Lasagna style. Net carbs per serving: 2. Price on the official site: $6.99 for one package; $24.99 for a package of 6. These are "noodles" made from heart of palm. I need to get the ingredients to make a lasagna and then we'll try this. - Choc Zero ~ Dark chocolate pumpkins. Net carbs per serving: 1. Price on the official site: $5.99 for bag of 20 pumpkins. I have tried these, and liked them. I will do a full review of these soon. - Shrewd Foods Protein Puffs ~ Sour cream and onion flavor. Net carbs per serving: 2. Price on site: $14.99 for a box of 8 bags (less than 1 oz each). I think I have tried a different flavor of these before, or it could have just been a similar product from another company. - Slim Fast Keto Cheddar Cheese Crisps . Net carbs per serving: 1. Price: not exactly sure. Probably around $10 if you can find it at Walmart or stores that carry the other Slim Fast Keto products. - Pyure Chocolate Drink Mix. Net carbs per serving: 1. Price on the site: $8.49; at Wal-mart: $5.48. - Recieved a sample size of this in the box. -Think Jerky ~ Grass Fed Beef Stick. Net carbs per serving: 0. Price: $22.50 for a box of 10 sticks (1 oz). - Laguna Salt Company ~ Pink Himalayan Sea Salt flavor. Net carbs: 0. Price: $6.49 for 2 oz container. I wish we would have got one of their fancy flavors in the box. But I do enjoy pink Himalayan salt. - Lillies Carolina BBQ Sauce. Net carbs per serving: 2. Price: $6.99 for a 21 oz bottle. - We recieved a sample size of this in the box. - Professor Nutz Peanut Butter. Net carbs per serving: Unknown. The nutrition label was confusing, and I couldn't find the answer on the website either. Price: $5.99 for the fun size (less than 3 oz). Can get a pack of 4 of the full size bottle (12 oz) for $50. - We received the "fun size" container in the Keto Box. Keto Fit Bar - Chocolate flavor. Net carbs: 3. Price: $40 for a box of 12; or $3.33 each. Fatt Bar - Coconut and Macadamia flavor. Net carbs: 3. Price: $13.75 for a pack of 5; or $2.75 each. I would like to pay under $2 for a bar ideally...so those bars are pretty expensive. Guess it will depend if they are delicious or not. Will review them later after trying them. I am excited to try the cookies, although I don't think I will add the pumpkin puree and try to find something to substitute in it's place. I will review the items as we (or just myself) try them.
