Legs, lizards, iguanas, orchids, a ballot and a carrot cake loaf!

1) You know you are old when in the middle of the night your leg itches, you scratch and wake up in the morning with blood all over the sheets!! (Actually, it is a combination of age and taking blood thinners!!)
2) The orchid in the tree outside my window keeps growing and blooming!
3) Iguanas aren't native to South Florida but over the years pet owners and pet stores have let them loose and now they are everywhere. At Gateway they roam freely, are BIG and, I didn't know, swim in the canals.
4) Just thought I would be nice and print the 'easy' carrot cake loaf that was in the paper this past week so you could make 2 and send one to me!! Carrot Cake Bread Recipe, The Best Carrot Cake in Bread Form!
5) Got my ballot last week, filled it out and handed it to the mailman!
6) I love the tails on some of our lizards!

Oh NO! This is so bad for your legs. My husband often scratches his legs, I told him to wear long socks while he sleeps. I like carrot cake, I have to check if I have carrots in the refrigerator. Oh my goodness, that lizards have a bunch of tails.

@GreatMartin In the garden I have seen a couple of lizards that grew two tails when they dropped their, it's a big weird.
Mom had to take a blood thinner and I remember that she bleed when she scratched her arms and legs.

Actually it is only 1 tail--curled--the 'others' are a shadow!!!
I take a blood thinner which is why I bleed when I scratch--heck I turn black and blue when I think I am going to bump into something!

Stop itching - just stop it (I know what it's like to scratch the heck out of my legs - but mosquito bites). That tree orchid still amazes me. I wonder how the iguanas and gators get along. A carrot cake loaf makes sense - why didn't I think of that - would it make it from CA to FL? Time to get those votes in for us too. That guy has a curly tail - how'd he do that (ours here are pretty straight).

@GreatMartin I know that sleep itching too - hate to see the results in the morning. So funny how people try to take great care with orchids but this one seems to know what it's doing all by itself. I hope the iguanas are nice to people. I wonder if your lizards have longer tails in order to be curly cue like that!

I didn't even know I was itching!! The orchids are beautiful--if I ever remember when I am downstairs I'll take a closeup! I haven't seen too many gators in our neighborhood but I do see a lot of iguanas! Our lizards have all sorts of tails--some are amazing!

You know I have never tried making a carrot cake or loaf, Thanks for the link I just got some flour with my groceries, If and when I get some carrots I might just try it, I love lizards and looking at them, We have these really tiny ones hopping around all over the place,

yepperz, our skin does thin's we get more 'seasoned' 'n those blood thinners're not much help'n the matter either. ya know ya needed to wash yer sheets anyhow ;)
what a beautiful orchid! here i'd thought they'd taken all yer trees 'way. so pleased such 'twas not so'n y'ave this lovely gift.
folks...i've not much kind words fer many these days. hopefully those cute iguanas 've not impeded'n native wildlife 's so many others 've done. interestin' they can be found swimmin' those canals, but makes sense.
by the time ya got said carrot cake, i fear such'd either be moldy 'r dried out. that'd be most disappointin'.
congrats'n gettin' such done. i 'twas gonna do the same, but my sweet momma'n aunt're convinced the postal service 'tis poisoned 'n 'nsist i must go'n person. they'll be takin' me to make certain such's so....
