Does Anyone Know Anything About Photography?

I thought for Christmas this year I would give each of my daughters a canvas mounted photo from their trips in Calgary with the beautiful mountain scenery. I can't figure out whether they are landscape or square. I believe the original photo is landscape but it shows up as square in my photo album when I save them from their pages.
I have no one to ask about this. I would usually ask them but obviously I don't want them to know. My thought is to go landscape (rectangular).
Above is the one photo I want to do for my younger daughter. (We'll see when I post this whether the picture shows up as landscape or square).
Any help would be appreciated
I will post my older daughter's photo that I want to use on any comments made.

@florelway Both these girls seem to have skills. My daughters have said that each of them have really good cameras.

Fantastic photos and a terrific idea for a gift!
I hope that the copies of the files that you have are a good deal larger than the ones uploaded here. Canvas printing usually requires a resolution of at least 100 pixels (dots) per inch. The images here (as myLot displays them) are (top) 1080 x 1080 pixels and (lower) 960 x720, which would give canvas sizes of about 11" x 11" and 9.6" x 7.2". I'm hoping that you had to resize them to upload to myLot!

It looks like the image with the discussion was probably cropped to be square before uploading. The other one in the comments is landscape.
One thing you're going to want to watch out for is the file resolution. I don't know where you saved them from, but some social media sites like Facebook automatically reduce the quality of the image when it's uploaded and those files usually aren't high enough resolution to make large prints from. The site should warn you if it's going to be an issue for the print size.
If you could get copies of the original files from them that would probably be ideal. Would they believe you wanted slightly better quality versions to use for a background for your computer?

@patgalca It might be possible, depending on how large you'd want the print to be. The original files would give the best results, though.
I hope the people you've reached out to are able to send you those files so you can have those prints made.

I have tons of different sizes to choose from according to the website I was on yesterday which has a sale on now. I will try and find some other Canadian sites. But you have can have small pictures to full size over the sofa size pictures. Obviously I want somewhere in the middle. Here is the other photo.
