Monopoly: A Board Game that Needs to Buy Soon

I noticed that my 4th grader's niece doesn't know the use of money. In fact, she never had money on her hands or in her pockets. My family and I don't want her to be exposed to it. Now, it's time for her to learn how to use it. Thus, I am planning to buy a Monopoly board game. Have you tried to play this board game? Would you like to play it online or offline? At what age does a child need to have money in his or her pocket? Image Credit: assets.sainsburys-groceries.co.uk

We often play this board game in our family. Two years back my daughter got a new one as gift that uses credit card machine instead of currency notes.

I haven't seen the credit card machine. Perhaps I will consider buying that new version of a board game.

@Shavkat Even we found that interesting. But I would still prefer the old currency one. Especially if you plan to teach her money handling.

@arunima25 I agree. She needs to learn how to use the conventional way.

@Shavkat I used to play this with my friends long time back. I could still remember how serious everybody would be even when played without stake.

I haven't tried it online, too. During my childhood years, my siblings, friends, and I play this during weekends.

Yes. Apples to Apples. Monopoly. Chess. Taboo. Five Seconds Rule. My husband built/ constructed Games of the Generals with hardwood. Magnificent piece of carpentry.

I wish I have the skills of crafting woods. He must be so patient enough to do it.

During my childhood years. most kids at my age love playing board games, especially during weekends. It is one of our favorite board games before. I am sure you will like it, too.
