Awake from a Deep Slumber

I was planning to be writing online here on Mylot this Friday afternoon but my plan remained a plan. My internet was not cooperating. It just went off 3 times that I gave up.
After we had dinner and I have cleaned the kitchen, I was feeling irritated for not be able to execute my plan. Hubby was fixing the WLAN and it was not still working.
Out of disappointment, I took a book which I have not read yet and went to bed reading Colin Dexter crime story THE JEWEL THAT WAS OURS. I was only up to chapter 4 reading and I went to sleep. It didn't happen to me before.
I have slept before 8 in the evening and woke up from my deep slumber at midnight. I am so awake now and I am collecting my thoughts. I am drinking my tea now in bed and it is almost 2 at dawn. I couldn't sleep anymore.
What happened? Am I addicted to internet now? Are you? What have I done when there was no internet, yet? What have you done?
I could have written more on here but afraid the internet will be off again. We will have to contact our internet provider soon. Thanks for reading.

I am but I can spend days away from it and I am fine but I want it to be my choice.

I can also spend days away from the internet but I want it to be my choice as well. Not, when I am having a writing plan for a day. Thanks and have a nice weekend @BelleStarr.

I have my routine online and it is usually after my dinner when I am done with all my chores or exercises. Thanks @GreatMartin and have a lovely weekend.

Internet has become a basic necessity now. And it can really be frustrating if it doesn't coperate on a day when you have all the plans to use it.

@thelme55 I feel that I deliberately take my half day off from cyberspace to enjoy life. 
But then it's my choice and I do it at my convenience. If it's forced by a poor connection or no connection I don't appreciate it.

That's how frustrating. Since you were used to Internet working, you feel uneasy and despondent without it.
