At present, I am working so hard. I must admit that coronavirus affected me financially. For the reasons that the expenses are higher than before the pandemic. That's why I need to compensate for the unexpected expenses by working hard lately. Thus, I don't have enough time to do the things I like.
How about you, myLotters?
Did you change things in your life in terms of working?

I have not felt any financial impact from the virus luckily. BUT, I DO wish I had more time to do the things I like. Working is great because it of course pays the bills and is necessary. But if I did not have to do it, or could do it less, I'd be very happy about that.
I have thought several times recently about semi-retirement, and financially I can do it. But the paychecks are still too good to pass up. lol

@porwest I am also a backpacker. If I have the chance, I wanted to explore things up and update my blog about it. I am like in your shoes that my work requires more time. Since I am teaching online, I can just bring my laptop and be connected to a dongle, then I can work and travel at the same time.

@Shavkat Well, that largely depends on whether or not you have hobbies, in my opinion. I like to write. I like to write and record music. I like to travel. These are things I have limited time to do if I work. So, even if I CAN still work, what is the point to stopping only when I can't, because if I can't work, I probably can't do any of the things I would like to do either.
So, what would be the point of stopping working to enjoy the things I like if by the time I can't work and stop...
I can't do the things I like?

I do not work outside the home. I find with more people home, more people eating, I have a lot more cleaning and laundry to do. That takes up more of my time and I am not finding time to work on my novel. Due to chronic illness my sleep is interrupted several times during the night causing me to sleep later than I would like taking up part of my day as well.

I have been working at home for more than seven years now. I think that I am lucky to find a niche. My company is pestering me and the other employees lately. However, I am still keeping myself positive and trying to be understandable.
I am sorry that you are affected by this chronic illness of yours. I think you can still manage it. As for me, I am experiencing physical exhaustion due to working hard. Moreover, I am trying to make it still in a balance situation.

@Shavkat As far as my chronic illness is concerned, I have been dealing with it for 24 years. I know my limitations, I know how to pace myself. That is the best I can do. But with other factors of health I do have to keep exercising every day and that in itself is exhausting because of the already present chronic fatigue factor. I'm doing the best I can. It never seems to be enough.
