Food Network is all chocolate and candy this morning

I don't feel like watching the news this morning so I have had Food Network on. I've seen The Pioneer Woman, Girl Meets Farm, The Kitchen, and now there is some show that I have no idea what the name is.
It is all candy and all chocolate all the time. They do this every year when Halloween rolls around. I don't know why they don't realize that not eveyone has a sweet tooth. At least balance out the dessert recipes with some savory pumpkin ones.
I'm not really sure why I still have the TV even on at this point. I'm not interested in any more candy or cookie or brownie recipes.

I am with you there, I just cannot watch another news. To be honest cooking shows is a constant favorite of mine especially when I am just trying to unwind. There is something about food preparation and cooking that is so calming or even therapeutic.
I also understand how it seems like they are just trying to go overboard on the same stuff. Times like this, I wish my sister is with me. We both have our own opinions on how people on cooking shows should do this or do that, or season this or that. But we are far from good cooks. We just love our back and forth.

Dark, chewy, moist brownies would make me stick to watching it.
