They are no help at all

My brother's internet stopped again and asked me to call customers service to help out. But they denied the contact number i want to provide them. They said the account holder should be the one calling them for a technical support. I didn't give and call again. But the second agent put me on hold until I gave up. What's the deal with them I'm just asking for technical support. They don't realize when the modem is screwed, not only internet but also their dial tone is gone. It's like they want them to use their phone to call instead. Makes me wonder why don't they use their mobile phones to call the services instead. Either some one's making a prank calls on them or they went out lazy this time. Customer service sucks now.

The account holder does have to be the one to get in touch with the tech people for security purposes but that’s awful when their phone isn’t working. They will have to find a different phone to use to call.

Hello @shaggin I think they should have tried and use their mobile phones and load some call credit or something. I don't know why they don't do it.

I'm not familiar with your company, but here we get live service from any phone we call on. How frustrating for you.

Good thing that one still has customer representative you can talk with. l know one cable company that there’s no CSR anymore and they have automated voice that will guide you when uou wany technical assistance. To be fair with them they fixed my problem in minutes when my cable signal got lost. l just chose to have my box reset and in minutes my signal hot restored. ah

it does not need the account holder to talk to them as long as you know the information about the account
