So in a couple weeks I will be flying out for the first trip I've taken in a while requiring to be on a plane. Haven't been on an airplance since last January, of 2020, where I went to Mexico on vacation, before COVID became a real concern. I have driven 29 hours to Colorado and back, but I have yet to be on a plane. In a couple weeks I'll be flying Delta from my winter tundra, Minnesota, to the east coast of U.S where we will rent a car and drive down the coast.
It's me and my older sister, we had a leftover flight credit from back in April when we had to cancel a Delta flight to Portland where we were going to go to the Olympic National Park. But, we weren't able to make that happen (since Seattle area was the hot-spot for COVID), so we had a leftover flight credit (worth about $400 each, which was nice now!)
Below is our loose agenda of where we will start/end. Most places we are only spending one day.
*Virginia Beach, VA
*driving through the Outer Banks of NC (Nag's Head-"Kitty Hawk",etc)
*Manteo, NC or Roanoke Island
*Myrtle Beach, SC
*Charleston, SC
Have you been to any of these places? And tell me please what you would suggest is wortwhile to visit.
Are you planning any trips at all?

I also wasn't able to go on my planned trip in April 2020. So I wish to get the money back from all the travel companies. Most of them have sent the money back to me. We were meant to visit Florida and New York so it is sad it didn't happen. I hope that you will very much enjoy your visit down the East Coast of America.

Sounds nice if it's safe to go. Me I've not traveled since 2006. Do you have to use the credit this year or can you use it after pandemic? I've not visited any of those sights.
