Two hour countdown

In two hours I should be having Botox injections for migraines.
I'll get about 30 or so tiny injections in my head and neck. I've had some cosmetic Botox so I know the shots aren't unbearable, but still...
What if the Nurse Practitioner puts them in the wrong spot? What if I get a paralyzed muscle?
My daughter (and some of you) get the injections for migraines with no problems. Although it's not uncommon to have a really sore neck for a good while after the first time.
Any advice? Any warnings? Although it's probably too late at this point.
I'm not a wuss...I've had two babies and many different surgeries, but this has me very anxious. Please pray that it goes well, that I don't have any major complications, and that it prevents these headaches.
Thanks, y'all. Means a lot to have caring friends.

@Ronrybs I didn't know either until my daughter started getting them for her migraines. I think those treatments have been used for about 10 years or so now.

But that's 'easy' for them to say, LOL! But I'm praying the shots help without any major side effects.

@CarolDM I know, I do appreciate it and I'm sure I'll be fine. I don't know why I'm so anxious. I do trust God through all of it. He said not to worry and to depend on Him.

I'm glad to hear that your husband didn't have any bad effects from the shots. Does he get them very often? I go back in three months for the shots again.

I had three little needles in my forehead in the frown lines years ago and I loved how I didn't look like I was frowning all the time, lol, but these 29 are a whole nother deal. They hurt, but not so horrible. I just got home and doing good so far.

I had the tiny injections (29!) last Thursday and I think maybe I'm seeing some improvement already. It can take weeks to work if it even does. I'm so thankful no side effects either. People think cosmetic when they hear Botox, but this is the medical use for migraines. My daughter gets them for migraines and they help her.

Thanks, Linda. I've decided I just can't take those antidepressants. More harm than help.

Mine are chronic which means they're not usually severe like the classic migraine (although I have had a few of those), but I get them every day.
