Chess ! is it only me ?

We all have hobbies right ? But during the lockdown period , a new hobby added on the list . And that is playing chess.
Thank to a comedian / you tuber "Samay Raina" i don't know you guys are familiar with him or not ? So basically in lockdown, he started streaming chess with grandmasters and those are so much fun to watch , that i also became a fan of chess. Now, here is a thought that come up . That is , Chess is also a game right ? But whenever we play other games we face a guilt trip of wasting time but while playing chess the guilt trip is little less . Maybe cause its an intelligent game..
Anyways .......
. Anybody here who like chess? Or Any hobbies or game that has add to your list recently ?

@marlina I love Backgammon, I play Chess time by time with my husband. We also play Go and a Chinese Chess game called Shogi. My husband loved to play with my father, he was a good player as my husband is, I am pretty good but not enough for his level.

Suddenly reminded me of playing chess with my elder sister when we were young. But I would always lose against her. Lol
Chess is interesting and I am happy to hear you are enjoying your new hobby. Netflix is my new hobby, though. I hope my toddler would be good in playing chess when she grows up. :)

I don't really play it, I really don't know how to play it, but I remember that I always buy a play chess when I was young, I always ask my dad to buy it for me... because it cheaper and it has magnet at the bottom... I play it with my playmates and cousins, but most of the time I play it alone... If I can remember it correctly, chess is so popular in 80s and 90s... that's why I got to have a lot of it at home before and lost it all as I grow older.

yes , yes and in one of my birthday , when i was younger . that particular birthday i got 3 chess board from 3 different person as gifts . but now all are lost . Thanks to online it wont lost ever now lol

Chess is a really good game.
I learned to play when I was a child and Inreallly do enjoy playing.
Problem is I can't find anyone to play with where we live and as a result have not played for a few years.

I like playing chess. When I was junior high school I was a winner among my friends haha. But now, I'm rare doing that. Now, my sports only walking, running and a simple others exercise

I just realized it's a long years ago the last time I play chess. If I learn it seriously and had partner to play, it seems to be an enjoyful thing to do :-)

I loved chess when I started learning moves and winning at a young age, 12. I taught it to my children and grandchildren. My husband is better player because he always defeats me on chess games.
