With severe weather predicted I’ll be heading home to beat it. It doesn’t matter. Yesterday was a jackpot in oh, so many ways. So, before I head for home I’ll give you another song from my list of ten favorites with “baby” in the title. Get up and dance.

My late, lamented comedian friend, Tim Wilson, used to say that Marvin Gaye had THE GREATEST voice in soul music. Why? “‘Ah, mercy, mercy me.’ He’s singing a song about fish with mercury in their systems, and women are taking their clothes off to it as fast as they can get ‘em off!” 
Truth. But he’s not singing about the ecology or social ills here. It’s just a dang good love song.
