'What movies are of good quality for you?'

Even before the pandemic, I seldom watch movies in a theater. It is not because I don't want to. The reason, I am a homebody person. Thus, I prefer watching them at home because it is more comfortable. I like the ones with unpredicted twists. If not, I am like a kid with a short attention span. If it is to my liking, why not? The worst course of action is to end watching it. Do you think a good director or a strong cast makes a movie of good quality? Image Credit: smartdnsproxy.com

A good story and a good director together make a good movie. I too am not much of a theatre fan and have been watching movies only at home last few years. Crime movies are my first choice.

@Shavkat I used to be a big screen fan at one time and would watch movies with my hubby in the theater every weekend. After he passed away I somehow lost interest in going there. And my kids go with their friends so I am left all alone. Hence started watching movies at home only.

Crime is one of my favorite genres. I do agree that a good story and director are the perfect combination. I prefer watching films at the theater. Unless if I am with kiddies, I want to let them experience watching a film on a big screen.

The story needs to be good first. I like a good drama. It can be any genre except comedy. I don't do comedy well. There are a few good ones, but not many.

I agree. We can consider a good story even if there is no strong cast. I am not into comedies that much, I prefer romantic comedy.

Good directors can make a good movie. I also like different genres except for pure dramas. It makes me so bored.
