It's like, she's pouring sea water to the dish

I let my niece cookedfor our lunch today and I requested her to prepare mung beans soup with dried anchovy in it. When I took my lunch and tasted the soup, it's like I was sipping a sea water because it's very salty. I almost lost my appetite but I came to the rescue of saving the dish so that it can be taken and will not go into waste.

The dried anchovy could be enough to season it. Maybe she even put patis.

@florelway Add more water but it makes the soup thinner. I put on sugar and flour to thicken a but not to be sticky as well as the remaining cabbage.

I am also sensitive to salt in a food. A little excess also makes it unpalatable for me. Glad that you could modify it and save it from being wasted.

@ZedSmart I am totally against wastage of food. We should be grateful that we have something on our plate when so many across Globe go hungry.

You're very wise and a problem solver, he he :-) Did you tell her or just let it as if all was fine?
Sometimes we don't have the heart to criticise others :-)
