Our little prince's second birthday today. It is a sad thing that we can't celebrate it with him. The culprit is the coronavirus. With this photo, my younger sister hanged some balloons to surprised him today. I just send some money as a present from us. They are just going to celebrate his natal day without his immediate family. Once this chaotic situation will be gone, things will be fine. How do you celebrate special occasions now?

Yes many of the celebrant this year would be all be celebrating their birthday with their families without their friends around. Worst if he/she is alone in the house.

I agree. If it happens that I am working in Manila, I might be alone. God has plans for everyone. Luckily, I did not pursue my plan to work offline and online at the same time.

@Shavkat I have a lot of my co workers that are single and living alone and they all are all locked up in their place. It is rather sad that they have to endure such conditions and we only get to talk via online and never see each other personally.

@rsa101 I can feel them for living alone. I hope I can do this in the future. Of course, I can do this without the virus.

My niece turned 26 the other day but we do not celebrate. We just ate an ice cream since we cannot meet the budget and instead save it for the rest of our consumption for the next few weeks. Our situation is still unpredictable during this time.

We also do the same thing. My nephew had a simple celebration, too. A whole cake and some simple dishes. Things are getting tough lately.

Happy birthday to your son. Birthdays and other special occasions have taken a backseat because of the pandemic.

It is my nephew. It is in a far distance, but a video call can still be used for now.
