Dotted at various points near the skywalk in Kalbarri, Western Australia, were more sculptures of Australian wildlife. We saw similar but much larger ones in Tom Price. I’ve already written about them in https://www.mylot.com/post/3408197/sculptures-at-tom-price-western-australia.
Down the left-hand side is a kestrel (I think), then a chuditch or quoll and a mountain devil. The western quoll is Western Australia's largest endemic carnivore. Even so, it’s not very big. We have them in the bush behind our property but you rarely see them.
I’ve written about the mountain devil here: https://www.mylot.com/post/2995523/the-things-you-come-across-on-holiday. They are cute little creatures although they look quite fierce.
Top right is an emu and chicks and below that, a black-flanked wallaby. These wallabies live in the gorge but are classed as vulnerable. There have been efforts to curb the natural increase of feral goats and this has helped the wallabies to slowly increase in numbers.

@crazyhorseladycx As we were driving out of the park, we saw an emu disappearing into the scrub just ahead of us but when we got to the spot, it had completely vanished.

Its so cool to see different types of animals from different parts of the world. I have a friend in Australia and he sends me videos and pics of the ones in his yard. There are always so many Kangaroos and wallabies there, and the birds are so beautiful.

@JudyEv Wow, thats a big piece of land, do you feed them? He and his mom fed them and have water areas for them, they are right in their living area. He even got a pic of one of the little wallabies standing on his porch in his doorway, it was so cute.

@LindaOHio We haven't taken it to the garage yet but it will be expensive. They don't really do patch-up jobs anymore. It will probably mean a whole new panel.

I thought so too. You have to admire the skill and craftsmanship that goes into making them.
