Moving right along with my quest for songs with U.S. state names in the title after choosing "Rainy Night In Georgia"" up next is lovely Hawaii. Of course, there have been many songs sung about this state and I have more than one favroite.
From them, I chose "Blue Hawaii" beautifully sung by Elvis. The song was originally written for the movie "Waikiki Wedding" with Bing Crosby in 1937. Then Elvis recorded the song and it was in his movie of the same name, The Elvis version of the song stayed on the music charts at number one for twenty weeks.
From the Elvis Presley movie Blue Hawaii. All my thanks to my wife, Toni - Dayniac4324 - for helping me make my very first video. I hope you enjoy!

I wasn't his number one fan but I enjoy his music and I did visit his home in Memphis.

We had the soundtrack to that movie when I was a kid. My mom loved Elvis.
