Do you have water filter at home?

Most houses here buy the commercial drinking water. Water stations deliver containers of purified/distilled water to every household. I bought water filter so that I would not worry anymore if we had no water..There was an instance, the water was not delivered because we were not home so I had to buy bottled water from the nearby mart. With the water filter, I can have my drinking water very available 24/7. what about you, do you buy bottled water?

Yes, I have a water filter in the home. Bought it last month, when my daughter came home. I used to buy gallons from the convenient store, which is pretty expensive. But I do not trust the water delivery boys this pandemic time. CoViD-19 is a contagious disease.

True. And it is not a guarantee that these gallons of water are safe to drink. We don't see how people handle such

@Janet357 Yes. We cannot be too careful where our health is concerned. Good thinking - that buying of a water filter is.

We use bottled water as we have well water and it's not good 2 drink. There are times I miss having town water but I do not miss having a water bill.

We used to have a water filtration system at home even though we buy bottled water. Ditched the filtration system since the bottled water that we get is good enough.

@Janet357 not sure how much it consumed but I'm guessing it did consume something similar to a refrigerator. The filter had built in water cooling and water heating mechanisms so you can get both cold and hot water anytime.

No, I don't have one. I use tap water for everything. To drink I just boil it. I also can't drink bottled water. I don't know why.

@Janet357 no, I feel fine. No stomachache whatsoever. It just that somehow bottled water makes me feel that it's not hygienic, which is kind of foolish. I would carry water bottle with me. One time I forgot my water bottle, I had to purchase those mineral bottled water when I was thirsty. I couldn't even drink more than one sip. I am just weird.

You mean, you get stomach upset when you drink bottled water?
@Janet357 (75656)

@Janet357 For FILTER, I mean that we have the big filter installed on the pipe where the water flows inside our house, not those Britta filters that you use on a caraffe to filer a little quantity of water.
