I know a lot of you must be dealing with bad weather now. We got an ice storm that knocked out my power from 3am Tuesday morning to 1om today, Wednesday. The ice was so bad it looked like inches of snow covering the ground, and the trees. My dad's home lost power, but it came back on after about ten hours. My biggest issue wasn't the freezing cold, although that wasn't fun, but I missed the Dodgers winning the World Series. How many of you are covered in ice?

It's so hard to believe it's snowy/icy in some places already! We are having a warm day today - and it's supposed to get up to 90 by Sunday. We are still barely getting into autumn!

We were in Vermont on a mini vacay when you wrote this. It was chilly, but sunny.

It seldom snows in Lake Charles. However since the local television station in Lake Charles was off the air due to Hurricane Delta, I missed the NBA Finals which the Los Angeles Lakers.

@AmbiePam Ice storms are horrible and also horrible that you did not have electricity from Tuesday till today. Sorry you could not see the Dodgers win because of no electricity.

Sorry that you had an ice storm. It sounds totally freezing cold. Here it is cold and a bit rainy. Snow rarely settles because we are close to the sea.

I'm so sorry that you went thru such a terrible storm. We had rain yesterday, but today is blue skies and sunshine, although the temperatures are cool outside. I hope that they show the game on demand so that you can catch it.

We live in the tropics so lucky not to experience those. We have cold nights now because it's rainy season here now.

We have had nice days but I have an acquaintance in the Metro area that has been without power for close to ten days. He got it back yesterday.

It is rare for it to snow here and that makes me happy.

Ice is still several weeks away for my area. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as it is near you
