A strange story from Lake Charles

Lake Charles trash cans on the side of the road

This story is kind of odd since what are the odds that Lake Charles would have been hit by two hurricanes named Laura which was a category 4 and then hurricane named Delta which was a category 2 would come six weeks later? The strange part of this story is that when I went outside to put out the garbage cans to be picked by the city sanitation department on Monday morning, two of three trash cans went missing. To my amazement, two of the three trash cans that belong to the city were gone. I am wondering which person would steal two garbage cans that were outside on Sunday night? I have heard of the television series "The Twilight Zone". Maybe real life is starting to imitate science fiction stories on television. I will have to ask the Lake Charles city officials to get me some replacements.

That is a little odd for them to only take the city trash cans, hmmm, did you ever figure it out?

@Deepizzaguy Well hopefully you get them back. I couldn't imagine living through a hurricane, that has to be terrifying

@cintol It was very scary since my relatives do not plan to ride out anymore hurricanes again since he will be buying a new car next year.

I have no idea since after the hurricanes passed, a lot of garbage cans went into other houses due to the high winds,

I don't get it @Deepizzaguy you mentioned in your first paragraph that you had "been hit by two hurricanes named Laura..."

@rebelann My error since I meant to say Laura and Delta.

Hurricane Laura came in late August. Hurricane Delta came in early October.

That's a very odd thing to steal. What are they going to do with trash cans?

I have no idea unless the garbage cans that were stolen were saying that the thief wanted to take back what they thought was their garbage cans.
