Poem: What is the right spot in your spot, for love?

If you have a dream to be yourself, be yourself where you are!

I was standing in my right place in life, but l wanted to try standing somewhere else. I moved a bit away from myself, but l found my somewhere else then moved too. Love moved with me in me, and never left me, alone. I thought l had moved, but l found, nothing can move me from love. I fell into a deep well of myself in myself, named love. I had moved from my spot in myself, to a new spot, in my spot of love. (i.e. Be the real you, in your spot in love.)

@DocAndersen Or, if a downpour of rain, a cloudburst, fills our well with water, and we drown, by our trying to stay down there, rather than our floating up with our problems to love again.

I don't know because for now I am runnign away from it, coz its too painful and hard to bear, my mind is so scared to think about it coz my heart reacts on it quickly and I started to feel the pain again... maybe in due time I'll find the right spot where God will lead me.

Well, our right spot never runs away from us, nor is it ever afraid to be itself. It is only ever full of love for us. There is even never no need to ever look for our right spot. It is in us, and comes to the fore, whenever it is needed to do so. Feelings of pain and hardship are mostly bluff, which a scared mind loves to feel. Love lives in everything, but the everything does not connect to love, when its mind is afraid of that love, and of its enormousity in you, its potential to change you, so at first, just be your own spot in love, and grow yourself from there upwards, into a full blossoming tree in God's love, which will always happen for you, as love helps you to grow.

Thanks. I was inspired to write it this afternoon. I was thinking about whether we are always in the right spot, in our lives, for love to be with us too. My answer was, yes!

I am happy wherever I am. Once we exude love, that is returned multifold. I have seen also, we are always noticed. People yearn for and look for love. Then we are in their midst. If we are into material pursuits, then we attract similar type too. There is no one place favored by our creator. We can be the agent of change wherever we are. A rose in a desert does its part too like waves in a sea. Follow the heart wherever we are and that choice is given to all.

Nicely stated, siva. You must be more settled in your peace, and happiness, than which I am. I am not happy in a lot of places, especially, in a long unnecessary queue. As I said to someone else though, I think happiness exists on two levels, outer and inner happiness. We can remain inwardly happy, even though we give a show to someone outwardly that we are unhappy with the way that they are acting towards us too. As the Bard said, we are all actors on a stage of life, and so sometimes, we can act up to get the right result, with righteous anger, or can we? Jesus Christ was said to have done this a few times in his life, but was he happy still, while doing so? I am still in two minds about that. A rose in the desert, is often performing a minor miracle, and playing a big part too, amongst it all, but it still has its thorns there too. If we get pricked by it, it is usually our own careless fault, unless we get pushed onto it. We shouldn't allow our other emotions to push our happiness aside, and make us rush past it. Happiness slows us down, (the right type of slowing down. Sometimes we have to stop ourselves to stop brushing/rushing past happiness, and let it catch up to us again) so we move towards peace then too.

@innertalks Thanks Steve, I try to maintain a balance between how I feel inside and how I react outside. I had been more irritated earlier when some made unreasonable demands at work place, mostly, but later I felt I could have handled the situation better by remaining calm though still expressing my feelings. When I show displeasure, it upsets me more and the feelings therefrom lingers. I recall one clear incident when I was helping one whose system was a mess and she tried to find fault at a meeting. I made it loud and clear I was helping her at the request of a mutual friend and she better understood where we stood on this matter. One of my colleagues said the color of my face changed abruptly when I spoke! Yes, we are all human and should express our feelings of hurt but I have learned better ways to make them clear so as not to hurt others and me too more in the bargain.

@innertalks I heard a story about one pricking Buddha with a needle and when he reacted to the pain, he was told he was not really enlightened. Then the Buddha said "pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional". There was one who tried to undermine me at the workplace. That made me think of the reasons. I came to the conclusion he was jealous of people coming to me for guidance and how I dealt with everyone in a calm manner and impartially. It did pain me initially but I just moved on, a la The Buddha! After a couple of years, he was still at it and then I decided I had enough and that proved a blessing too. Then karma hit back at him as someone else played him out and he sort of came to me with tails between his legs. That proved negativity is a no-go. Yes, those addicted to drinks cannot be comfortable with others who do not join them in their revelry. We had weekend parties at one place and the boss encouraged all to join in. Most did and I was a reluctant participant too. I too was sort of sidelined when I stuck to my ways rather than gong overboard. At another place soon after, the boss told me not to wear non-drinking as a badge of honor but seamlessly adjust to the surroundings. We had lots of overseas buyers and I was asked to be adept in how to entertain them by offering drinks and learning about what goes with what and their food habits. Then also try to be no holds barred when they so desire in terms of their other cravings! That made me to look for another job! It takes all types to make a world!!!

Yes, thanks. You are right there. True love, God's love in our hearts, never changes. I agree. God's love in our heart is perfect, and it's always in the right spot. We should not ever move too far away from this love, (it's God's spot in ourselves), with our minds.
