The End Times in the Bible

This morning I reviewed the life story of St. Charles Borromeo. My father was named after him. It's my father's birthday today, the feast day of St. Charles Borromeo.
So, I learned that not only was the handsome of a hunk saint an intellectual, he was also known for the 'Plague of Charles Borromeo.'
Thought it interesting to check the plagues, and the signs of the end times.
Here's what I gathered - a biblical reference to the end times. Before that happens, at least five signs will be shown:
1. The Gospel will reverberate through the whole of the world. Matthew 25
2. The Great Apostasy will transpire. Matthew 24 is probably the Apocalypse.
2 Thessalonians 2 refers to the Parousia.
3. A universal conversion of the people of Israel. Romans 11: 25
4. A revelation of the anti-Christ halfway into Tribulation. 2 Thessalonians
1-4, Epistles of John
5. Tribulation. Matthew 24 and 25, Mt. 24: 9
It might also be interesting to note that Apocalypse, defined by google as a
noun:
1. the complete final destruction of the world, as described in the biblical book of Revelation.
2. an event involving destruction or damage on an awesome or catastrophic scale.
... could actually be the unveiling for man to see the truth.

@LadyDuck I love this. A wonderful tradition you have - a happy name day.
We don't have that in our culture. I think I'd like to initiate a Buon Onomastico among my friends. Thank you for telling me.

@eileenleyva "Buon Onomastico" is the day of the Saint of your name, my name is Anna, Buon Onomastico is the 26th of July, Saint Anne is celebrated on July 26th.

@eileenleyva I kinda read that when l was young and l find it quite dark and cryptic that you need to decipher its message deeply. Although we have had a lot of those famine, plagues and war in our history. It is hard to pinpoint which of those is what is described in the Bible. I also heard that It will never be revealed when is the time God will end everything but they will come like a thief in the night. So for now, l just take everything to be ready of what is to come.

@rsa101 Watch the movie, the story is not so scary. But we have to know the Revelation in its entirety. That's the reason the prophecy was revealed, to prepare us.
There is the illumination of conscience prophesied by the three days of darkness. This was foreshadowed by the ninth plague of Egypt, when all lights were extinguished. Darkness will cover the earth. Only a blessed candle will light in the home, but this has no effect in the home of the ungodly. Buy a candle now and have it blessed for your family. When the time comes, never allow anyone inside your home.
The 3 days of darkness is the direct intervention of our God. A sign of the Cross will be seen in the sky. We will see our souls as God sees us. Even our tiniest sins offend our God. In the illumination of conscience, we will be enlightened.
This is actually a vision of HOPE, which prods us to seek turn to the DIVINE MERCY and Mama Mary.
