November 5 - What I'm Thankful for Yesterday

I didn't have the opportunity to write this yesterday. So, I'm doing so today.
Yesterday was a good day. I saw my therapist twice. Once in the morning, once in the afternoon. I walked the halls in the morning and I worked on the NuStep bike in the afternoon. I got 21 minutes on it. I'm pretty happy with that.
I also saw the Occupational Therapist yesterday. I don't remember what all we did, but I know it went well as the OT was just here and she was saying the eval yesterday showed I would be going home soon.
I'm thankful the cook is working with me again. I will say the food is pretty good for an institution.
I'm thankful I'm becoming more independent. It looks like I'll be leaving here early next week. Hopefully, I'll know more tomorrow.
I'm also thankful for the Packers win last night over the San Francisco 49ers. I was grateful they played as both teams have players out with COVID.

Glad your therapy sessions are going well and you'll be able to go home soon. Atleast you are comfortable there and have TV and the food isn't so bad. I hated hospital food so my family would bring me food whenever I was in the hospital for my surgeries etc.

@just4him yeah I bet the bed is uncomfortable. I hated the beds at the hospital i was in too.

Thank you. I can't deal with this bed any longer. It's the worst I've ever slept in.
The food isn't bad and the nurses are nice.
That's great they brought you food.

hmm, what day 'tis 't? i'd be sooo far 'hind here. thankful i woke 'n survived the day i reckon. most likely 'twas more, but i couldn't e'en tell ya what i'd fer supper friday night :)
great news'n yer progress! wonderful they're workin' with ya better'n regards to yer nutrition. i recall such 'twas a bit troublesome last go 'round.
