The book I am now reading / myLot

Killing Lincoln written by Bill O'Reilly is the book I am now in the middle of and it is very interesting so far. I am learning things about the end of the Civil War, Ulysses S Grant, John Wilkes Booth and Abraham Lincoln I never knew before. At the moment in my reading, I am very close to reading about the assassination. It has always saddened me to think about what happened to Abraham Lincoln. My Dad bought the book. He gave it to me when he was finished reading it. I took the picture with my cell phone.

One of those books which is definitely on my bucket list. I have not read any of the "Killing" books. But this one would definitely be very high on my list of "must reads."

It is very well written.I have learned things I never knew about the end of the Civil War and the assassination.

I have heard how Lincoln was assassinated and the person who killed him but not knowing the background of it.

I just finished reading Battle Cry of Freedom by James M. McPherson which is about the Civil War as well as Lincoln. I also read Lincoln by David Herbert Donald which was excellent.
