All the world's eyes were on Wilmington, Delaware yesterday, where President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, in brilliant speeches focusing on gratitude and the healing of the nation were delivered. Of the essence are desperate measures on controlling pandemic's CoViD-19, a tall order for Monday. Followed by the economy, the environment, systemic racism, education, children and immigration. At least those were what I gathered from the rhetoric befitting of leaders. The President-elect's tone was commanding, with emphatic forcefulness, as he called for healing. A language pleasurable to hear. For right then and there, he offered an open hand, and shared his faith, as his grandmother bade him to do as a kid. Half of the solution to a problem is already in the given. All Joe Biden had to do is the other half, which he will attend to on the first working day. How blessed the United States of America is, for having Joe Biden for a President-elect. He ended his speech by recalling a hymn entitled 'On Eagle's Wing,' a song that got him through the grimmest days of his life. If you know the characteristic of the eagle, it is one that soars above the storm.
You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord, Who abide in His shadow for life, Say to the Lord, "My Refuge, My Rock in Whom I trust." And He will raise you up o...

A gargantuan task of unmaking what has been done, like the United States withdrawing from the international resolve on climate change. Science has it there are just a few decades given us before the earth collapses, the resulting factor would be a possible extinction of man. The United States, being a world leader, can influence all other nations to do the right thing. Hopefully, the nations can get the act together. That is what the President-elect was alluding to when he said time was of the essence, The CoViD-19 novel coronavirus was a result of that climate change.

@LadyDuck The world leaders, except for the despots, have extended their congratulatory greetings to President-elect Joe Biden. Truly excited because his name is Joseph.

@eileenleyva Trump always refused to recognize that humans are responsible for climate change. He has been a serious treat for the humanity. We all hope that this new President will take care of all the important matters dropped by Trump. I am sure that without Trump the nations will get along better together.

Yeah that is true that he offers healing to those that he may have offended during the campaign. I guess that is truly a sign that he is a good leader. But if you would looks at the popular vote the numbers really very near that it made every voters cringed on their chairs. It seems the opponent still has had many supporters that supported his stand on things.

The numbers speak for itself. A difference of roughly four million makes the difference. That renders one a winner. The offer of healing is for every American - do away with the divisive partisan politics that divided the United States of America.

@eileenleyva I just hope that the legal battle brewing ahead would finally be short and quick on this matter. So USA would finally be united again. Between % it was really a close fight that they had. The losing party might just need to concede so transition would be smooth once again.

@rsa101 The cases lacked substance, and evidence. So those will not prosper. As to the transition, according to the President-elect, the safe keepers of the White House have measures on how to deal with tresspassers.

The President-elect has come out and delivered a message about the scientific progress on the development of the vaccine. Meanwhile, since he ain't be inaugurated yet till January the 20th, he urged everyone to wear the mask, the simplest yet most impactful act of saving our neighbors and one's self.
