Good afternoon mylotters,
Are you a vegetarian? Or non veg
At home since i came,my mil doesn't want to eat chicken,..fish she ate sometimes. But she said one time i am not a vegetarian but i don't like chicken.
So everytime we had chicken at home,she will cook but not eating.
But last night her brother cooked chicken curry so there's left over for today.I went down and saw her eating,haha ..i am puzzled.

What you eat or not eat should be your personal choice. Not sure why she liked to hide it or comment on others. I am a vegetarian by choice but I love to cook it for my family. And have times tried it when my husband has made something special for all of us.

I think that it's fairly natural not to like chicken (or any other meat in particular), whether you're vegetarian or not. I an certainly not vegetarian but I prefer a red meat like lamb or beef or pork in a curry because I feel that the taste of the meat matches the flavour of a curry better and chicken is a little too bland for most sauces (except, perhaps, the milder and creamier ones). Chicken goes well with the coconut, cashew and yoghurt based sauces, for example, but the more robust lamb, mutton and goat benefit from the deeper and more spicy flavours.
