I bought earlier today a kilo of fresh sardines at the supermarket. It is intended for our two cats. I just cook it late night. This time, I removed the bones of the fish including the head and entrails and cook the meat only. I seasoned it with salt and pour a small amount of water enough to cook without leaving it watery. It takes time on that process so by next time I'll cook it first and then flake it because the older cat is very picky. If I'll give him the whole fish, he will not eat it unless it will be turn to smaller portion. Unlike the younger, he's enjoying any food that is given to him without a problem.

@GodServantme They grow up at home becaus they're still kitten when I brought them and they used to be feed with food but yes they hunt for rodents and it's one of the reasons that rodents are rare at home now.

I am relieved its fresh sardines and not canned sardines in tomato sauce. Tomatoes are not good for cats, it will make them vomit.

Your cats are spoiled! I hope they realize how lucky they are to have a pet parent like you. Unfortunately, my husband and I cannot have pets. We are both allergic to animal fur. We did have a labrador once, we just keep up with our anti-histamine. When she passed away 6 years ago, we never really recovered. It's still hard for us to get a new pet. She still has her pictures hanging in our house.
