I'm Dying My Hair Again.

Hey there, everyone. I wasn't planning to post today, but I changed my mind. I'm attaching a picture of two boxes of Garnier Nutrisse hair dye to this post. I bought the Darkest Berry Burgundy (Raspberry Jam) from Target to use on the top layer of my hair. The Sweet Grenadine (Medium Intense Magenta) was ordered from Amazon to use on the underneath section of my hair (also known as "Peekaboo Highlights). The boxes were about $7-$8 each, but I'm also including tax. Also, I know the shades aren't too different, at least not on the boxes. So, my hair is shoulder length, as my 19yr old niece was kind enough to trim it recently. This means I probably wouldn't have used the full box of either on my hair, which feels like a waste of money. And when you pair that with seeing the pink color in the bottle, I decided to just do my whole head in the magenta. Or well, I asked my niece to do my whole head in magenta lol. I figured it'd also be easier than mixing two boxes and switching colors halfway through. I have about 20-25 minutes before I'm due to rinse out my hair. The shower is in use and I need to wait for the timer to go off anyway. I've used magenta in L'Oreal (the hicolor for dark hair only), but I've never used it in Garnier before, so we'll see how it looks or if it even takes to my hair. My natural hair color is medium/ash brown, btw. If I don't like it, I still have my burgundy, and if I do like it, I'll do the burgundy the next time I dye my hair. I guess we'll see what happens when I rinse it out. Until then, I'm going to finish up my work. I should be finished soon.
